This painting is of my friend and fellow artist, Eliza. She commissioned a painting from me and I decided to do a whole series of her.

This painting is made with black walnut ink that I made myself from foraged black walnuts around my house. I dyed the cotton fabric with indigo dye and lovingly hand stitched it together.
